Sharks Injury News - Released
Sharks not as healthy as we'd hoped
I thought that the San Jose Sharks were generally healthy going into the playoffs and I still believe they were. However, after a grueling series with Calgary and then Dallas, Team Teal was banged up. Some of the reports released weren't surprising, while others were. Regardless, injuries are a part of the game and they shouldn't be viewed as excuses to a disappointing early exit. However, it is somewhat satisfying to know that a number of guys were hurt and not just lacking in heart.
According to the Mercury News, the following players have injuries. Looking at this list, I don't know how we would have done against the Red Wings seeing as how they were well rested and ready to go. In fact, just look at Game 1 against the Stars (4-1 DET win). Dallas was simply dominated out there...not surprising, but still an impressive Red Wing performance.
